At 12:36 Cecil County Communications struck Fire Box 203 for the reported house fire on Charles Lane.
Due on the assignment were Stations 2 and 12, Station 1 (Cecilton) with the Engine, Station 27 (Middletown DE) with 2 Engines
Chief 2 (T. Morris) went enroute shortly after dispatch.
Safety 12 (R. Stevens was first to arrive with the 2 story single family dwelling with nothing evident.
Chief 2 arrived shortly after and established command.
Command advised he had a laundry room fire that was now out. Units would be checking for extension.
Engine 27-5 and Engine 116 were advised to commit to Charles Lane and Engine 2(Asst.Chief J. Long), Engine 12 (FF E. Brandt) , Tanker 12 (FF C. Hopkins) , Engine 27-3 staged at Old Telegraph and Charles Lane.
Units removed a dryer from the residence and overhauled the laundry room.
